The story of PORClean began in 2018, founded by Li Jianqi, the founder of Taiwan's "Hsinya Digital." Initially focusing on the independent design and development of water flossers, the Taiwanese team's development and design capabilities led to the launch of the world's first antibacterial water flosser with an antibacterial filter in January 2019, making PORClean a leading brand in antibacterial water flossers globally.

PORClean's core philosophy is "Your natural teeth are the best," meaning "By developing the best dental cleaning tools, we help people thoroughly clean their teeth to retain their natural teeth." PORClean observed that the American Dental Association has been promoting the habit of water flossing for over 60 years, significantly reducing the prevalence of periodontal disease in the United States. In contrast, nearly 90% of elderly people in Taiwan lose their teeth due to periodontal disease. While the government subsidizes full dentures, they still hinder chewing and affect the health and quality of life of the elderly. Founder Li Jianqi's mother lost all her teeth due to periodontal disease, and despite wearing dentures, her chewing ability was compromised, impacting her health. This personal experience led Li Jianqi to investigate why current water flossers had not gained widespread adoption and to dedicate himself to developing the best water flosser in the world, making oral hygiene easy and effective.
