If you receive such calls or messages, please remain vigilant and do not trust instructions from unfamiliar sources. If in doubt, please contact PORClean immediately or call the National Police Agency's 165 anti-fraud hotline for verification.
When receiving calls displaying numbers starting with "+", "+2", "+886", or any unknown caller ID, exercise caution and be wary of tactics where scammers may alter phone numbers or impersonate specific companies, banks, or judicial authorities. Do not click on unfamiliar links or accept friend requests from unknown LINE accounts or SMS messages.
Common fraudulent tactics include "repeat orders" and falsely setting up installment payments to gain your trust before requesting online banking or ATM operations. If it involves your bank account, contact your bank directly. If a caller requests you to perform account operations or provide personal information, politely decline to reduce the risk of fraud.
We also recommend regularly changing your passwords, using strong passwords (mix of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers), and avoiding entering account details on public computers to enhance information security.
